Does Louanne accept commissions? How does it work? How much does she charge?
Yes! Although a majority of Louanne’s work is Hawaiiana, she also does a lot of commission and portrait work as well.
Due to the ever-changing nature of commissions, Louanne does not charge an hourly rate, rather she gives a quote to her client and begins painting once they agree on the price. Louanne usually recommends that she meets with the subject to take reference photos, but she also accepts commissions from clients who already have their own photos. Just remember that not all great photos make great paintings!
The typical payment procedure includes a 50% deposit upon Louanne accepting the job, followed by the rest of the payment by the time the painting is finished and delivered. Louanne understands that everyone’s financial situations are different, and often works with her clients to create a payment plan they are comfortable with.

All products are professionally packaged to gallery standards for optimal safety, and all original paintings include free shipping insurance for additional peace of mine.
